March has been madness, and we are only days in.   During this very hectic time of change, growth, school, and parenting craziness I wanted to take a moment to reflect on gratitude.  I read a book several years back from the Oprah book club, called Simple Abundance, by Sarah Ban Breathnach.  Which talks about appreciating life, in all its messy imperfect excellence.  One of the activities in the book is to take time every day to reflect and list five things you are grateful for.  After a few days it’s funny you began to look at your day differently,  because you wonder what will make the list today?   This post is dedicated to Gratitude.  Here is my list for this week:

  1. My Husband:  My Partner
  2. The kiddies
  3. The garden that we are building.  It’s a 1st for us, because I have no luck with plants.  I am hoping some of my in-laws genes rubbed off on us and our garden is abundent…so far it’s looking good. 
  4. The amazing job opportunites for 2011 and beyond.
